Ginger

O daughter of mine
Why do you
Attack me.

O mother of mine
I know
No better.

O husband of mine
Why do you obey
Your daughters command?

O wife of mine
I can’t control
My own actions.

O where is my
Husband
And daughter.

“I took them
Far away.”
The master said.

A foundling youth
Is given for mothers teaching,
But an aching, tired, aged body
Leaves be.

All of mothers other children
Never come
When her end nears.

Those assisting
Mother
Don’t realize,
She’s fighting
For those last breaths.

Haggard Faces Part 1

part 3 is here:    http://randomblog1w.blogspot.com/2016/08/haggard-faces-part-3.html

Red energy plasma protrudes like two pointed horns connected by a metallic round coned cylinder. Blurred window panes cover the front of the cockpit. The spaceship lands on a large round silver quadrangle hobbling in the air, etched in the ground glowing color’s reveal where to land.
Part of the ship pushes in before rising into a door.  A crew of four exit shinning like fresh printed pennies their long lanky robot bodies are stretched into strange perturbed faces.  The platform they stand on shifts as lights slither into the shape of a sidewalk.
Timidly the crew begin stepping forward but the one whose face seems to frown crouches down saying.
“I can’t do it.”
The others stare, unmoving. The one who seems to grit its teeth jeers.
“Than by all means go back, obey your master!”
The one who frowns raises itself up reluctantly following the path.
